“Building cross-border competitiveness through partnership and networking“  Project

The project aimed at the development of the cooperation between the ICT business and the ICT intensive companies in the Bulgarian–Serbian cross-border region. The project was implemented with the partnership of the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Nis. The action is co-funded by the EU through the Bulgaria – Serbia IPA Cross-Border Program, the Bulgarian Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works and RPK Nis.  
Series of workshops raised the awareness on competitiveness improvement based on quality, integral management models and cyber resilience. A couple of trainings in software process improvement models, the establishment of linkages between companies from both sides of the border, joint events aimed at the discussion of suitable approaches towards the promotion of ICT industry in Eastern Europe. 

"Kosovo Economic Development through Quality and Networking" Project

The project aimed at improvement of the capacity of the ICT sector in Kosovo through trainings and certifications in IT Mark, a quality management model that ensures the consistency between the company management, business strategy, engineering management and information security. The project was implemented by European Software Institute Center Eastern Europe, Laboratori i Teknologjise Informative (L.T.I.) and Bulgarian Association of Software Companies (BASSCOM) with the financial support of European Commission Liaison Office to Kosovo under EU Support for Regional Economic Development program. 

In order to gain more competitive assets on the national and international markets, the ICT companies in Kosovo were supported by practical trainings and certification under globally recognized and proven methods for achieving leadership and excellence. The project provided professional trainings to IT practitioners and managers giving them practical knowledge in managing customers’ requirements, work processes, ratio investments: incomes (Return on Investment-RoI), risk management, resource management, project management etc. In addition an analysis of the ICT sector in Kosovo explored the state in private and public ICT related organizations, their capacity requirements, priorities in Information Society development and provision of public e-services for citizens and business organizations.
