Education

Our senior experts teach regular academic courses and we support selected academic lecturers and courses in Bulgarian universities that are leading “suppliers” of professionals to the IT and software industry, digital economy and the cybersecurity sector:

  • Sofia University the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics (SU FMI)
  • Sofia University the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (SU FEBA)
  • Plovdiv University the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics (PU FMI)
  • New Bulgarian University (NBU)
  • Institute of Mathematics and Informatics with Bulgarian Academy of Science (IMI BAS)

We apply a new style of teaching and courses delivery, based on the methodology and content adopted through the project SEMP Program (Software Engineering Management Program) from our partners at Carnegie Mellon University and other world-class leaders:

  • Student centric approach
  • Synchronized and cross-linked content with practical examples and case-studies
  • Practicum/project work (Studio course) based on real industry problems or startup ideas

For the design of the courses and curricula we apply the e-Competences Framework (e-CF) as European standard and prepare for respective ICT job profiles as defined by the industry and state. The mapping is based on unique methodology, described here: "Evaluation of ICT Curricula using European e-Competence Framework" (in: Journal "Computer Science and Education in Computer Science").
