This October, as a part of the activities dedicated to the European Cyber Security Month (ESCM), the CyResLab (Cyber Resilience Lab) of ESI CEE is launching a special set of cyber security related courses, targeted to SME’s software developers, designers, application and system engineers. This is the technical layer of the general lines of ESI CEE in the field of Security by Design, Cyber Resilience, Privacy by Default and Secure Coding. One of this initiatives is our highly requested Practical PHP Security Course:

The course is based on applying security principles in the everyday development process for the PHP language. This training is strongly focused on practice, including exercises that show PHP code with security defects and lets the participants practice fixing such issues.
The course will also cover best security practices for the most popular PHP frameworks.

The goal of this course is to teach developers how to recognize common security problems and to write code that is not vulnerable to such issues.

Key topics include:
- Injections (SQL, code, shell)
- XSS
- CSRF
- Session hijacking, and others

Prerequisites: Strong knowledge of PHP basics.
