e-Leadership skills

Responding to the inadequacies in the skills market flagged by stakeholders across the EU, the European Commission has launching initiatives designed to foster a full range of skills relating to ICT, “e-skills”, in Europe, the most recent focus and initiative is on the skills gap in the ‘e-leadership’ domain. For effective e-leadership, the skills required are seen as those which enable people with very strong ICT skills to lead qualified staff from ICT and other disciplines towards identifying and designing business models and exploiting key innovation opportunities. Their success is defined as making best use of developments in ICT and delivering value to their organizations. ESI CEE is part of the multi-partnership consortium, under the umbrella of European Commission that is building an ecosystem supporting quality development of e-leadership skills. The European Commission initiative aims to support the development of e-leadership skills through the strong practical instrument of a curriculum profile and the development of quality criteria that evaluate the programs provided by higher educational institutions matched to curriculum profiles and demonstrate these at different business schools and universities in Europe.

The participants will learn and practice how to formulate an effective strategy using BSC, what are the key principles of strategy translation into operational terms and how to measure and analyze the strategy success during the implementation process. The workshop is well balanced with useful exercises in the ratio of 60% presentation / 40% exercises. The instructor will demonstrate a BSC implementation roadmap and discuss the resources, time and commitment needed for the implementation of a BSC.

Mind mapping

Methodology

A Mind Map is a powerful graphic technique which provides a universal key to unlock the potential of the brain. It harnesses the full range of cortical skills – word, image, number, logic, rhythm, colour and spatial awareness – in a single, uniquely powerful manner. In so doing, it gives you the freedom to roam the infinite expanses of your brain. The Mind Map can be applied to every aspect of life where improved learning and clearer thinking will enhance human performance.
